Tim Tam Launches Twin Pack in UK as Global First, Heads into Tesco Meal Deal

Australia’s beloved chocolate biscuit brand introduces travel-friendly twin-pack in selected Tesco Express stores from 26 October
Australia’s iconic chocolate biscuit brand, Tim Tam, is introducing a new twin-pack format to the UK market, marking a global supermarket first for the brand.

The snack-sized twin pack hits selected Tesco Express stores from 26 October and will be available as part of the Tesco Meal Deal or sold individually for approximately £1.

Since landing in Britain in 2024, the brand has gained notable traction, prompting demand for a more convenience-friendly format.

In response, the new twin pack offers two biscuits in a compact 36 g size, designed for on-the-go consumption.

Customers will recognise it in the Tesco Meal Deal snack category alongside drinks and sandwiches.

Amber Dutkiewicz, Market Development Manager for Tim Tam in the UK & Ireland, said: “Tim Tam has proved to be incredibly popular here since our launch last year, and the demand to have Tim Tam in an on-the-go format has been strong.

We are excited to offer the opportunity to enjoy Tim Tam in a travel-friendly, snack-size two-biscuit pack that is also available in the iconic Tesco Meal Deal.”

This rollout follows earlier product innovation in the UK, such as the white-chocolate variety and limited-edition Sweet & Salty flavour, both exclusive to Tesco and its convenience formats.

The twin pack signals a further step in the brand’s UK expansion strategy to cater to commuter and convenience shoppers.

By aligning with the Tesco Meal Deal format, Tim Tam is positioning itself not just as a niche imported treat but as a mainstream snack option within the British convenience market.

The twin-pack RRP is listed at £1 on Tesco’s online platform, underscoring competitive pricing and accessibility.

As the twin pack begins shipping and in-store rollout continues, success will hinge on placement, consumer awareness of the Meal Deal option and sustained appeal of the Aussie-import story.

The brand’s next moves may include further format innovations and wider availability beyond Tesco Express in the UK convenience channel.
