Australian audiences can watch the ninety-eighth Academy Awards live on Monday, March sixteen, with free-to-air broadcaster Channel Seven and its streaming platform 7Plus carrying both the red carpet arrivals and the main ceremony.

The Oscars take place in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, March fifteen, but due to time differences the event airs on Monday morning across Australia.

Red carpet coverage is scheduled to begin at around nine thirty in the morning Australian Eastern Daylight Time, followed by the ceremony itself at approximately ten in the morning.

Viewers can watch the full event live on the Seven Network or stream it simultaneously on 7Plus, which offers online access through smart televisions, mobile devices and web browsers.

For those unable to watch during the morning broadcast, an encore screening is scheduled for the evening, allowing audiences to catch the highlights later the same day.

The ceremony is being held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and represents the ninety-eighth edition of the Academy Awards, which honour the best films and performances released during the previous year.

The event is once again hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien, returning for a second consecutive year as master of ceremonies.
