Australian property and logistics developer Goodman Group has begun construction on a major new data centre project in Sydney, marking another step in the company’s rapid expansion into digital infrastructure driven by the global surge in artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

The development forms part of a broader strategy by Goodman to transform selected industrial sites into high-capacity digital infrastructure hubs capable of supporting hyperscale technology companies.
